FREE SUNDAY CONCERTS IN THE PARK
Four guys from Hudson High School and Kent State University started a band in the '70s that had no intention of bowing to conformity (or making any money). The band was called Gildersleeve, and it achieved rather legendary status in the region. A certain number of years later, they're doing reunion shows of music you won't hear anywhere else along with some friends.
From Genesis and Yes, to Tower of Power and Earth, Wind, and Fire, to Zappa, it's hard to categorize, but easy to enjoy.
Funding is provided by the Local 4 Music Fund, Leonard DiCosimo, president, the Music Performance Trust Fund, and Cuyahoga Arts and Culture.
