For those who love to browse through sophisticated fine art while strolling down a wooded path, there's no better way to spend a summer weekend than at the Cain Park Arts Festival in mid-July. The Arts Festival accepts artwork of a quality found in an art museum or fine art gallery. Since its inception in the late 1970's, the Cain Park Arts Festival has grown to a three-day event, rated one of the top in the country, that matches 20,000 art patrons with 150 professional artists in a beautiful park setting.

In addition to a wide variety of entertainment offered all three days in the Evans Amphitheater, special children's concerts are also scheduled in the intimate Alma Theater. Gourmet restaurants and caterers offer food concessions throughout the weekend in the covered picnic areas surrounding the Evans Amphitheater.
